If you want to get the diesel engine for your Colorado, you won’t be able to get it in all configurations. With the extended cab, only the ZR2 package is offering the Duramax unit. The selection is wider if you pick the Crew Cab. In this case, All but the entry-level WT will come with an extra option.

With the LT model, buyers can count on 17-inch wheels, Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system, and 6-way driver bucket. Z71 off-road package brings more fun if you want to test the capabilities of your 2021 Chevy Colorado Diesel. Special suspension, case shield, and automatic locking rear differential are added. Plus, there are some interior upgrades.

The first one is cheaper, and the entry-level package costs $41,200. If you add $1,000, you will get the Z71 bundle. The top of the class model and the truck you want with the Duramax unit is ZR2. It is available for the Extended cab and costs $46,000. The Crew Cab costs $2,000 more, while the engine is not there if you opt for the Crew Cab and Long bed.
