2024 Honda Accord Redesign, Concept, Sport – After its midlife refresh, the 2024 Honda Accord continues shining in this market segment. You can choose between a gas-only or hybrid version. A pair of turbocharged four-cylinder engines powers the gas-only Accord sedan. Lower trims have 192 horsepower and 193 lb-ft of torque. The 2.0T model boasts 252 hp, 273 lbft and more power. While both make for quick driving, the stronger motors can produce some very dynamic performance. Although the hybrid model pairs two electric motors to a 2.0-liter four-pot, it has a remarkable effect on fuel economy.
In 2022, the Honda Accord was given a major update. The standard gasoline version of the Honda Accord is unchanged. However, the hybrid line gets a new trim. The 2024 Honda Accord Sport replaces EX. It features standard features like LED headlights, foglights, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Android Auto.

Exterior And Interior Design
The 2024 Honda Accord still looks the same as it did in years past, despite some minor updates. The new Honda Accord 2024 has a large grille, slim LED low beam headlights (full-LED headlights for the upper trims) and small slots in the bumper to accommodate optional LED fog lights. The Sport and SE models have chrome exhaust finishes and a gloss-black decklid spoiler. Sport 2.0T, Touring 2.0T and EX-L models get a power sunroof. The EX-L, Hybrid and LX models get smaller 17-inch wheels. All other trims have larger 19-inch wheels, with black inserts for Sport models and gray inserts for Touring. The front of hybrid models is marked with a blue Honda badge.
The 2024 Honda Accord is typical for the midsize sedan segment. It is 196.1 inches long and 57.1 inches high. It measures 111.4 inches in length and 73.3 inches wide. The curb weight of hybrid and gas models varies. The LX is the lightest at 3,150 lbs, while the Hybrid Touring weighs in at 3,446 pounds. It is slightly lighter than the Toyota Camry, which weighs in at 3,310 lbs.
The EX-L is just below the top-tier trim. It offers many of the most desirable features at a lower price. All infotainment features, including a 10-speaker premium sound system with a moonroof and a power sunroof, are standard. Blind-spot monitoring is included, as well as rear cross-traffic alarm. The driver’s seat is equipped with a memory function in two positions and an auto-dimming reverseview mirror. The Hybrid model of the EX-L includes an acoustic vehicle alarm system for cyclists and pedestrians.
The Touring is the ranger-topper, with the 2.0L engine and adaptive dampers. It inherits all features of lower-tier trims. The Touring also has door pull ambient lighting and a head-up display. Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities, built-in navigation, WiFi hotspot capability and ventilated front seats. There are also heated rear outboard seats and two additional front parking sensors. Except for the powertrain and associated instrumentation, the Hybrid Touring is identical.
2024 Honda Accord Engine
The 2024 Honda Accord lineup includes the LX, Sport SE, EX-2, EX-3, EX-4, EX-8, EX-L and Touring 2.0T gasoline-only models. The base Hybrid Hybrid, Hybrid Sport and Hybrid EX-2 are the hybrid offerings. The 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine in the lower-tier models sends 192 horsepower and 192 lbft to each of its front wheels via a CVT. Standard-fitted on the Touring, the Sport has a 2.0-liter turbo four. The unit is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and produces 252 horsepower and 273 lb-ft. The 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated four-cylinder is shared by all hybrids. It’s mated with two electric motors, and mated via an eCVT. Only one drivetrain is available: Front-wheel drive.
